SalterMitchell PR (SMPR) is seeking an administrative assistant to work in our Tallahassee office and support the SMPR Administrative Team. This is a part-time position at $15.00 an hour to work under the SMPR admin staff for 15-20 hours a week.

The ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, organized, and has at least three years of experience, preferably in an office setting. We’re seeking a professional who is competent in prioritizing and completing assignments, self-motivated, and able to support the administration of our company.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or similar role

Proficient in the Following Systems:

  • Google Drive (Doc, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe Suite (Acrobat preferred)


  • Ability to work 15-20 hours each week
  • Available to be in the office Monday through Friday from 9 am - 1 pm
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to the office and to run errands
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Ability to work closely with others within a team


  • Answer phones, assist office visitors and organize mail
  • Maintain office/cleaning supplies & equipment
  • Any other tasks to support the admin team and administrative procedures

Job Type: Part-Time, Benefit Ineligible
