SalterMitchell PR is looking for college juniors, seniors and graduate students to join our team as a part-time intern/extern.

Our agency is based in Florida and our team works diligently to help our clients communicate with the state’s diverse population. Our focus as an agency is to work on meaningful projects. 

We work with Fortune 500 companies, businesses, state agencies, nonprofits and associations.

Role and Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone to help us highlight our staff, client work, accomplishments, professional development and awesome experiences. In short, we need someone to help us brag about ourselves!  

As the SMPR Content Creator, you will get hands-on experience working with our team to produce digital and social media content about SMPR. This will involve:

• Content creation (aka – brainstorming, exploring creative ideas, writing)
• Social media analysis and reporting
• Website analysis and reporting
• Working with our marketing and creative teams to produce custom graphics, videos, blog posts and other digital content

You will also help produce our Fluent in Floridian podcast, which features the Sunshine State’s brightest leaders talking about the issues most important to the people of Florida.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for an individual who is a self-starter, detailed-oriented, results-driven, creative, and fun. To apply, candidates are required to have some or all of the skills listed above under Role and Responsibilities, and have completed a communications internship at an agency, with a non-profit, business or public institution.

This is a paid position for 20 hours a week and located in our Tallahassee office. We encourage students to use this internship for academic credit.
