Action Plan

  • From February to June 2024, promote Annual Conference sponsorships to new and returning sponsors through an email marketing campaign, starting with email blasts every other week and increasing to weekly, to sell at least 90 percent of sponsorship packages and exhibitor booths.
  • Utilize FAC’s existing Constant Contact email platform and prospective sponsors contact list.
  • Design emails in the 2024 Annual Conference theme and feature creative, engaging copy aimed at enticing potential sponsors to purchase a sponsorship.

Results

  • SMPR designed and distributed a total of 14 email blasts. 
  • A total of 40 sponsorship packages were sold, 14 of which were secured during the email marketing campaign period. Additionally, 127 exhibitor booths were sold, with 55 of those secured during the campaign. 
  • Forty out of 41 sponsorship packages (98 percent) were sold, and all exhibitor booths were filled. 
  • Emails achieved a 25-35+ percent open rate and 1.5+ percent click rate for every eblast distributed. Of the 14 eblasts, six achieved an open rate of 20-29 percent, five between 30-39 percent, and three exceeded 40 percent (the highest open rate being 63.8 percent). Additionally, five eblasts achieved a click rate of 2-2.9 percent, five achieved between 3-3.9 percent, and four exceeded 4 percent (the highest being 22.8 percent). 
  • The eblast campaign’s success generated a return on investment (ROI) of 2,001 percent for the association.
